Learning Objectives:

• Understand human evolution and Mesoamerican cultures through a guided tour of the National Museum of Anthropology.
• Identify key elements of Aztec culture through original artifacts and representations.
• Develop creativity and artistic appreciation through the experience at the Wax Museum.

ITINERARY OVERVIEW:

We will begin the day with a visit to the National Museum of Anthropology and History, exploring the introductory anthropology hall and the impressive Aztec culture exhibition, which includes the famous Sun Stone (Aztec Calendar) and a scale model of the Templo Mayor.

After our group lunch, we will head to the Wax Museum, where students can discover figures of historical leaders, celebrities, and fictional characters. To wrap up the experience, they will get to create a fun wax sculpture of their own hand.
